My doctorate in physical therapy from Stony Brook University enables me to apply my unique brand of therapeutic movement to the rehab setting. I believe that learning how to eliminate compensations through appropriate muscle engagement allows those in pain to live a pain-free life. Healing truly occurs when a patient both understands their own body and applies that understanding to their daily activities. My greatest joy is the look on a patient’s face when they tell me they are pain-free for the first time in months. These successes fuel my passion to teach you how your body works, and set you free to enjoy your life!
- Educate yourself about the pain you experience in your body.
- To address pain and discomfort, consider lifestyle changes such as conditioning your whole body in addition to focusing on specific muscular weaknesses.
- If pain persists, seek the help of a physical therapist to review your movement patterns and identify weaknesses and imbalances.
