Neck Lateral Flexion Stretch


  1. Start in a comfortable cross legged seat with hands on knees and head aligned atop spine. Take your right arm overhead and hold the left side of the head with fingertips pointing down toward shoulder.
  2. Tilt the head to the right and add a gentle pressure with the right hand to deepen the stretch.
  3. Hold for 30 seconds and then repeat on the left.
  4. Inhale; pull collarbone wide. Exhale; release one percent of tension in the neck.
