Healing Ginger-Lemon Tea

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 10 thin slices of fresh ginger
  • 1 lemon slice
  • Raw honey (optional)

Directions

  1. Bring water to a boil. Add ginger, cover, and reduce heat. Gently simmer for 15 minutes. Turn off the heat and let steep for another 15 minutes.
  2. Squeeze the lemon slice over a mug, then drop in the lemon. Pour the steeped ginger tea into the mug through a strainer.
  3. Add honey to taste if desired. Enjoy warm.
